BSP Charity Carnival at OGDC - Part Two~

Continuing from last time,

After the car wash at the Y&T Advance Autocare, I sent my Hilux there around 8.15am & completed only 9.45am with the car show starting 10.00am. I had to rush once it was completed as I had to stop by at Pandan 2, to drop of my things and Tiny termite so that the car is clean & clear for the show.

So whereby around only 10.15am at OGDC for the Car Show, whereby there were a few cars already there...Especially for those cars with sound system...

The green car was once d infamous green goblin...now repainted...a four colour tone...

While here was one chevrolet whom is owned by one of my uncles, who is also in the 8Y8 club...For those who do not know, the 8Y8 club is a team of car owners whom have modified their cars for show..especially sound system..and they also have matching blue under car lights...

Front doors

Interior Airbrushed

Rear door

The monster under the rear bonet...with airbrushed design...

Engine cover also airbrushed witht the same design...

There were also a few cabriolets on show....

And not long after having a look at the cars, where I was just about to go back to my car, drifters arrived....in the form of Wangan Drifters....Where upon arrival a few cars did some 360 degrees burnout....

The Wangan drift crew

Just at about 12pm, we then head out to the big top to have a look at the items that were on sale....apologies, I did not took any photos as I was to focused on the car show...However, just about 1pm, Subaru club joined in the car show...

Not long after the arrival of the Subaru team...a cousin of mine, dropped by to take photos of the cars and events there, before entering his car for the car show...

Where he showed off his sound system which made his car won a trophy in last years car show..on sound system that is...he informed me, he had spent roughly about 12k, on his sound system including an original sony player....

However, just roughly around 1.45pm, rain started to pour heavily which made most of the cars going off and myself convoyed with Cypawl to meet up with Tiburon team that came down to KB from Bandar, where we headed to Pasar Seria for the Tiburon Team to meet up...

With that, ends the Charity Carnival at OGDC...where after the meeting of the Tiburon Team, myself & Tiny Termite went off to our grandparents house at Pandan 2, to have a rest & awaiting for a call from Cypawl for a night photoshoot by him...so do stay tune, and await for the photos...

Hope you have enjoyed the photos..cheers~

BSP Charity Carnival at OGDC - Part One~

On the 22nd of November 2009,

There was a BSP organised charity carnival for the Humanitarian Aid for the victims of Earthquake in Indonesia and Typhoon in Philippines at OGDC. Where there were fun games, face painting, portrait photos, raffles, live band and also a car show.

My car, was in the car show, so due to having to be at ogdc at 10am. Myself & Tiny Termite, set of from our house at 7am and reaching OGDC at 7.45am to pick up my car pass from Ka Eyah. Where we then set of for Y&T advance auto service...

This shop was suggested by Ka Eyah, as it is her favourite place to send her car for a wash...It made me curious why and only  when I saw how they washed & cleaned the car, that it hit me....

After they spray with water, they have two people to sponge the car with soap while one more person will use a towel with soap to wipe out ol the stains...

They then would wipe clean your car, shouldn't it be done yet? Its inside & out cleaning...

Once done, they would drive the car inside the showroom, to be wiped once more and for the vacuuming. But there was something different..

While one person, wipes the car, one more person uses an air pressure to blow all the access water that are in spaces and holes.

The next thing is, they also clean ur engine for you using the air pressure and a brush.

I have to say...this is a car wash that has a rating 10 out of 10 on my scale meter. My car actually looked as if it was brand new.

While I was there the manager, Ah Kui, told me something which surprised me, I would have thought such establishment would be famous for its car wash..but it was not the case here..as the shop has a daily shipment of cars for waxing & polishing. and usually one car like my hilux, would at least take one full day..but they can do up to three a day. With its great service, no wonder its always packed..thank fully that day I came early... here are the prices:

For Waxing:-
Saloon Cars $40     MPV cars $55    4WD or Vans $65

For Polishing & Waxing:-
Saloon Cars $80     MPV cars $110    4WD or Vans $120

However, Ah Kui, told me that before sending a car for either the waxing/and polishing the customer needs to make a booking...Hm...now i have misplaced Ah Kui's card, but will post it as soon as I found it....

For the mean time, for those who are interested you need to go to Pandan 6, you just need to find the Hyundai dealer (bear in mind in KB) and it is the block opposite Raiyah Furniture..and at the far end...and you'll see Y&T Advance Auto Service..do check it out..just that you have to wait for the completion of just washing the car...as it took me a total waiting time about 1 1/2 hour for it to look brand new...

But again, the wait was worth it and even every penny paid was totally worth it...will continue on the rest of the happenings soon~ stay tune...

2nd Love..ready?

Dear readers,

The last few days, I have been busy with my normal daily routine...though I also took the time to get my Hilux ready for the upcoming car show at Seria.

For those, who are not aware, today, the 22nd of November 2009, there will be a BSP Charity Carnival where there will also be a car show. The festival will start of around 9am till around 4pm, while the car show will start from 10am onwards.

And my hilux, is in her first car show...due to my cousin, ka eyah, is one of the organisers for the event, I was able to register and informed early for the show..though I know, I wont be able to compete for any prizes..but if it was a night show..I know I'll be able to contend for the top three...

Here are a sneak peek of some of the new installations i did to my Hilux, for the show tomorrow...

The festival will start at 9am till 4pm, while the car show will start 10am onwards, with my car on show. However, eventhough the event finishes early, ill be around in kb till 7-8pm for those who would like to see my car at night, do drop by the ogdc charity carnival and have a look around to support the cause... cheers~
