Shabu-Shabu Restaurant

Shabu-Shabu means swish-swish, it is a Japanese variant for hot pot or in Taiwanese, individual steamboat. The dish is related to sukiyaki in style, where both use thinly sliced meat and vegetables, and usually served with dipping sauces. However, it is starkly different in taste; shabu-shabu is more savory and less sweet than sukiyaki.

Whereby for the first time in Brunei, such a restaurant was opened on the 13th of March 2009, the restaurant which is a franchise brought in from Taiwan is named

IceBar & Cafe
,

The restaurant is located at Unit 15 & 17 on the First Floor of the Kiulap Plaza Hotel, and as per informed by a freind of mine who is the owner of the restaurant, if you would like to have your lunch or dinner there, you should make a booking or a reservation as during those times especially during the evening the place is always packed, so to make a reservation please call either 2233031 or 8616889.

They also have a couple of vip rooms if you would like to have a small private gathering or function, below are a few pictures of the restaurant...
