Trip down to KB

On the 18th of January 2009, The terunjing termites went down to KB to meet with our Grandparents with ofcourse our parents, Lady Rider & King Joe. Through the winding roads from Bandar to Tutong, we enjoyed the beautiful sky which as we came nearer to Tutong, the sky transitioned from bright blue to a darker as the rain start to fall.

However, while we were on the way to have breakfast in danau, we got stuck in a traffic jam that was just as the road from the highway goes from a dual lane to single lane at 'pasir putih' area.

Where we found out that a truck bringing road tar got itself into a minor accident which caused it's load to fall onto the road, which was locking half of the single lane.

with half the lane blocked, the que on our opposite end whom are trying to get themselves to Bandar, was actually queued upped till the the Sg Liang Bomba Station.

It took us roughly 20 mins in que on our side till it was slowly flowing steadily which then we arrived at K.K. Koya for breakfast.

We went on to enjoy the food which were "Nasi Bryani" chicken, beef, lamb, fried mee, "roti telur" & rojak. Then we went to meet our grandparents on our father's side, Mr Hji Nawawi Hj Mahari & wife living in Sungai Liang in their humble two storey abode.

Oh, how great it was to see them again, after some tome being busy at work, it is always great to make a visit to your elders even not staying long but at least meeting & being with them for a while, especially for our grandparents even at their old age, alhamdulilah they are still active n loving each other. We stayed for a while catching up with them on how things have been going, before setting off to OGDC where there was a carnival set up by TAIB was being orchestrated.

Where a few bikes including a few Harley Davidson bikers represented HOG of Brunei where at the location showing off their prized Harley and getting people more interested into riding.

Lady Rider joined with the H.O.G. riders for a photoshoot whom attended the show while showing off their certification as a group of bikers under H.O.G., while a few who were not there were having lunch. As there were about more than 10 riders coming all over from the bandar area coming down to KB in the heavy rain.

Also there, was Ismakom Company was there, although this will be a free advertisement but I just cant pass the opportunity to show off some gorgeous cars that was on display for sale by Ismakom.

A few cars which are on offer were a red mini cabriolet,

From there, we continued our way through the old road going to KB whereby we had the chance to sight see what Brunei Shell Petroleum has done in improving the standards and the education for our Bruneian people in the Kuala Belait Area.

From there we reached KB a.k.a Kuala Belait, where we arrived to our grandparents house which is also next to Mr Arab Family's humble abode.

Where we met up with our own Chef Azme cooking up a storm in the kitchen,
