A Wedding at Rizqun

The day was the 29th March 2009,

We, the Terunjing Termites were invited for a wedding of our cousins at Rizqun, where by I would like to dedicate this post with a congratulatory to the happy couple,

Though upon arriving at the Gadong Mall, we were greeted to the exhibition of the Red Sale promotion made by HSBC,

We then went off to the fourth floor for the wedding ceremony on the grooms side,



















































































While waiting for the arrival of all the guests and the start of the event, I took the opportunity to have a look at the balcony from that fourth floor, where below are the results....
































When I arrived back to our table, just in time to see the groom was ready for the departure whereby the "jabat-jabat" was proceeding, just as soon as it was done, then the guests were invited to dig in and enjoyed the food:



Once done, with the grooms departure with those who follows, we joined with the rest upon retreating ourselves and went window shopping while for myself taking a few final pictures of the Red Sale booth before its closure.

BIBD Annual Dinner

On the 21st of March 2009,

BIBD (Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam) and its subsidiaries of companies held their annual dinner, which was held at Hua Ho Manggis, at the Manggis Ballroom. Which is located on the 4th floor of the shopping Mall, whereby the arrival of staff was to be at 7.15pm. Upon arriving to the said location, we used the elevator to reach the designated floor and registered ourselves for our attendance and the lucky draw.































We got ourselves busy with some photo sessions while listening to the speeches presented by the Managing Director of BIBD & also the Head of Board of Directors for BIBD and its subsidiaries.

We then enjoyed an array of food










whereby the choices were of...









White Rice,
Fried Rice,
Curry Beef,
Mixed Vegetables,
Boiled Fish,
and Cashew Chicken






Prepared by RBC (Royal Brunei Catering), the food was not bad, especially the curry beef, for myself, i had fifths maybe more just that...While we were enjoying our food, there was a singing performance from the staffs of BIBD, where upon the finishing of the performance, staffs who have stayed with the company for over 5 years were given their appreciation certificates with vouchers to redeem their special prizes, whereby below the Terunjing Termites aunt & uncle received their proud 20th & 25th year anniversary respectively with the bank.


with that we would like to congratulate them on their acheivement also with the rest of the staffs of BIBD whom have received their certificates.

Congratulations and Cheers, oh and also after the prize presentations there was a lucky draw, however sadly, myself didn't get any...however congratulations to those who did win big especially a 47" LCD TV which was the biggest on show for the draw apart from about 12 other LCD TVs', two laptops, 3 phones & 5 cash prizes.

7 days back

Last weekend, the 15th of March 2009,

Our cousin, Saiful Rizan Hj Sabli, who had his wedding on the 8th of March 2009 with Siti Mariam, went to his parents house for a Seven (7) days return event, whereby we, the terunjing termites, arrived at the house located in KB at around 10.30 or so, we then went to help with the preparations for the event.






























































































































Whereby myself took the opportunity to do a photosession of the surroundings while waiting for the guests to arrive....

















On the day itself was also miss darwinsha, our cute little niece who had her 1st birthday of her life celebrating on this momentuos occassion...

While we were awaiting for the arrival of the bride and groom..the kids were emersed in playing "ROCK BAND" on a Nintendo Wii....
































Then everyone got themselves busy with getting ready for the arrival of the couple...where upon the couples arrival, the couple steps into the house and goes to the "pelamin" for a quick photo session with their parents before proceeding outside for lunch.....Oh and also for the wedding cake available...

After lunch, there was a prayer for the couples safety and future, then the couple proceeded back to the "pelamin" inside the house for some photo session with both sides of family members...
